01Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Certaze ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. In these Terms, "the Service" means the Certaze exam-preparation application and related pages made available by Certaze Technologies at certaze.in and its subdomains (including, for example, app.certaze.in), and the Certaze — Certification Prep app for Android distributed through Google Play. Separate Certaze products that have their own terms, and any separately published study materials or books, are not part of "the Service" as defined here.
The Service is operated by Certaze Technologies, a registered business in Kerala, India (Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-KL-10-0095921) ("we", "us", "Certaze").
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
02Description of Service
Certaze is an AI-powered certification exam preparation platform that helps you prepare for professional certification exams. It provides:
- AI-generated practice questions for all certification tracks currently offered in the app (the in-app catalogue is the authoritative current list), presently including PMP®, CAPM®, PSM I™, AWS® Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02), Microsoft Azure® Fundamentals (AZ-900), and PMI-CPMAI™, with more added over time
- Instant AI feedback, explanations, and learning points after each answer
- Performance analytics, domain tracking, and a readiness score (a weighted average of your own practice results, not a prediction of your exam result)
- Study tools including spaced repetition, concept library, and career coaching
- Cloud sync of study progress across your devices (on by default while you are signed in; you can turn it off)
03Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain account security, and notify us at admin@certaze.in of any unauthorised access. One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits may result in suspension.
04Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial from account creation. During the trial:
- Up to 15 questions per day
- Core features including Quick Burst mode, Learn tab, and Reports
- No credit card required
After the trial, practice requires an active Pro pass. Your study data is retained whether or not you hold a pass.
05Pro Passes and Pricing
Certaze Pro is sold as a Pro pass: a one-time, fixed-term purchase. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are stated plus applicable taxes. "MRP" is the standard list price; the price charged is the amount you pay at checkout.

Except as set out in the Founding-Member terms (Section 06), prices may change with 30 days' notice; a price change does not affect a pass you have already bought. In the Android app, the price is the one shown in Google Play at the time of purchase.
Buying a pass while one is active. If you buy a Pro pass while another is still active, the new pass's term is added to the time you have left, so no days are lost.
No auto-renewal. Your pass ends on its expiry date and is never renewed or re-charged automatically; you can buy a new pass at any time to continue Pro access. On the web, payments are processed by Razorpay — by purchasing, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms. In the Android app, purchases are made and processed through Google Play under Google Play's terms; we never see your payment details.
06Founding-Member Offer
The first 100 paying customers ("Founding Members") are eligible to keep their launch price for each new pass they buy, for as long as their Pro access remains continuous. This benefit:
- applies only while your Pro access is continuous;
- continues across passes provided you buy your next pass before your current one expires, or within a 30-day grace period after it expires;
- ends if your Pro access lapses beyond that grace period, after which standard pricing (the then-current MRP or list price) applies to future passes;
- is limited to the first 100 paying customers (test and internal purchases are not counted) — once that cohort is filled, the founding rate is no longer available to new customers.
The Founding-Member rate is a continuity benefit, not a perpetual or unconditional discount, and confers no rights beyond those stated here.
07All-Access Certifications
All Pro passes are All-Access: they include every certification track available on Certaze at the time of purchase (the in-app catalogue is the authoritative current list), presently including PMP®, CAPM®, PSM I™, AWS® Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C02), Microsoft Azure® Fundamentals (AZ-900), and PMI-CPMAI™.
If we add new certification tracks during your paid term, they are included at no additional cost for the remainder of that term. We do not, however, guarantee that any particular future certification will be released, or that it will be released by any particular date.
Scope of All-Access. "All-Access" covers certification tracks within the Certaze exam-preparation application (the Service). It does not extend to separate or standalone Certaze products, or to any separately published study materials or books, which are offered separately and are not included in a Pro pass under these Terms. For clarity, All-Access is a right to access a certification track inside the exam-preparation application; the fact that a separate Certaze product or publication covers the same certification subject (for example, the AZ-900 examination) does not entitle you to that separate product. Access to any separate product requires its own purchase under its own terms.
08Refund Policy
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: the 12-Month pass carries a no-questions refund within 7 days of purchase; for other passes, contact admin@certaze.in within 7 days of purchase with your order details, and we review each request individually. Purchases made in the Android app are also covered by Google Play's own refund policies.
Requests after 7 days will not be considered. Outside the 12-Month no-questions window, dissatisfaction with AI content quality is not grounds for a refund — use the free trial to evaluate first.
Nothing here limits your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India).
09Acceptable Use & Fair Use
You agree not to: use the Service to build or train competing AI products; scrape, copy, or extract content in bulk; bypass paywalls or security controls; use bots or automated scripts to access the Service; or upload unlawful or harmful content.
Fair use. The Service relies on AI features that carry real computational cost. Your use is subject to reasonable fair-use limits. To protect Service quality and to prevent abuse or excessive automated use, we may apply daily question limits, rate-limit requests, or temporarily vary AI response quality. These measures apply across the user base and do not constitute a reduction of the Pro pass you purchased. Violations of this section may result in suspension without refund.
10Single Account — No Sharing
Individual accounts are for one named individual only. You may not share your account credentials or licence key with, or allow account access by, any other person. Each licence key activates a single account.
Team, classroom, or multi-user access is available only under our Teams (B2B) plan. Where we detect credential or licence-key sharing, we may suspend the account without refund.
11Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and AI-generated outputs are the property of Certaze Technologies or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal exam preparation only.
Third-Party Trademarks. PMP, PMI, and PMBOK are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc. CAPM and Certified Associate in Project Management are registered marks of the Project Management Institute, Inc. PMI-CPMAI, CPMAI, and PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI are trademarks of the Project Management Institute, Inc. AWS and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Microsoft and Azure are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. AZ-900 is a Microsoft exam designation. PSM and Professional Scrum Master are trademarks of Scrum.org. Certaze is an independent exam-preparation tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with any of these organizations. Android and Google Play are trademarks of Google LLC.
12Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, 100% accuracy of AI content, or that use of the Service guarantees passing any certification exam.
13Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Certaze Technologies shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
14Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by third-party service outages (Firebase, Anthropic, Razorpay, Google Play, Render, Vercel, Cloudflare), internet disruptions, natural disasters, pandemics, government action, or cyberattacks. Outages exceeding 72 continuous hours attributable to our systems may result in extensions of your Pro pass at our discretion.
15Termination
You may delete your account at any time — in the app (Profile → Delete my account) or by emailing admin@certaze.in; see app.certaze.in/delete-account. Except as provided in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, paid fees are non-refundable on voluntary closure. We may suspend accounts for Terms violations without refund.
16Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time with 14 days' notice via your registered email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
17Governing Law & Data Protection
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT (Amendment) Act, 2008, and — in respect of personal data — the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kerala, India. Before litigation, please contact admin@certaze.in — we respond within 10 business days.
18Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rules, 2025, the contact details of our Grievance Officer are published in our Privacy Policy.
To raise a grievance, email admin@certaze.in with the subject "Grievance". We acknowledge complaints within 72 hours and resolve them within the timelines set out in our Privacy Policy.
